Help me to rest in the truth of ‘Great is Your love towards me.’

Help me to understand Your love for me is not based on my performance.

Your love is infinite and unconditional.

Help me to love others as You love me.

Amen.

God help me to accept things just as they are.

Lord, help me to create a life of balance, 

moderation, and simplicity.

Help me to take time to enjoy life, 

to be a person full of gratitude.

And whatever my challenge, 

let it be an occasion to deepen my life’s purpose.

Today was a new day. Made an effort to start the day with gratitude in my heart. So many things to be thankful for… awesome wife, two sons that love me, family and friends that fill my cup.

Lord. I pray that you always remind me of just how lucky I am, and that you never allow me to forget to show my gratitude to those around me.

Just when I start to believe I have things figured out, life throws a monkey wrench in the works. Today feels like two steps forward three steps back.

God, help me to trust in Your plan for me. Amen.

Wedding Day!

Dear God, bless the bride and groom not only on their wedding day, but on all of their days together.
Help them to love one another,
Help them to trust one another,
Help them to forgive one another,
Help them to appreciate one another,
Help them to grow together as Husband and Wife.

Just days before the wedding… I am sure you are both nervous and excited. So much planning has gone into the wedding, today pray for your family. Why is family important? When you think about it, your marriage is the first step in starting your own family. Just as you love and accept each other for your strengths and weaknesses, gifts and faults; offer a prayer of acceptance to all of your family knowing they ultimately love you and have helped you get to where you are today. One of life’s truths is that we get what we give. We all want complete love and acceptance.
God, help me to be loving and compassionate with my family. Help me to let go of righteousness, resistance, anger, fault-finding or any other kind of struggle.
Just as you love and accept me, let me love and accept my family.
