Day 285

“I delight greatly in the LORD… for He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” — Isaiah 61:10

Lord,

Thank You for these quiet, tender moments in the middle of a busy season — the ones we’ll remember long after the details are forgotten.

Bless the days ahead, and let the whole family share in this gladness.

In Jesus’ name we pray.

Amen.

Day 284

“If we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” — 1 John 4:12

The love we share with family and friends, day by day, is not just something God smiles on from a distance. It’s the very place He chooses to live. When you’re patient with one another, when you forgive, when you choose each other again on the ordinary days—that’s where God becomes visible. By the grace of God our love can be a glimpse of Him.

We pray that our love for one another would be a home God is glad to live in. That it would be completed, not by being perfect, but by being shared.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 283

“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain…” — Psalm 127:1–2

A long day — but the work got done.

Lord,

Thank You for a productive day

Thank You for the strength to finish what was in front of us.

In Jesus’ name we pray.

Amen.

Day 282

“Trust in the LORD, and do good.” — Psalm 37:3

Five words. That’s the whole thing — some days I spend more time being anxious about what I have to do than I spend actually doing it. The list gets long, the mind starts spinning, and before I know it, I am tired and ready to call it a day.

Lord,
We have our lists, our plans, and more than a few things we’re anxious about.
Help us to trust You, and simply DO.
In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.

Day 281

“Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You.” — Psalm 143:8

Lord,
As this new day begins, help us to care well for the gift of ourselves.
Help us to nourish our bodies, steady our minds, and quiet our hearts.
We give this day to You before we spend it.
In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.

Day 279

Heavenly Father,
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34: “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
I claim this promise for my son, Your son.

Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You.
I believe in Your power to heal and restore.

I humbly ask for Your divine intervention and healing touch upon his life.
Please remove any afflictions, ailments, or conditions that are causing him distress and grant him complete wholeness.

God, I acknowledge my limitations, but I trust in Your unlimited power and love.
I know that You are able to deliver exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.
I surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are in control.

In Jesus’ name, I pray,
Amen.

Day 278

Romans 8:38-39
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

God,
Thank You for Your unending love and mercy.
May Your Word be on my heart and mind.
Help me to trust in what I cannot see.
Increase my faith so I may do Your will.
In Jesus’ Name I pray.
Amen.

Day 277

God,

Thank You for your grace and protection during the most recent chapter of my life’s journey. The blessing of family and good friends is a constant reminder of Your love.

Thank You for tirelessly calling me by name, receiving my prayers and drawing me closer to You.

Jesus You are my Lord, my God and my Savior.

Amen

Day 276

Dear Jesus, Thank You for Your life, Your mercy, Your compassion. Thank You for carrying the burden of the cross for my salvation. Thank You for compelling Simon to serve as a cross-bearer as part of Your passion. Thank You for your living Word: “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” Let me never forget Your sacrifice so that I may see my burdens as small in comparison to Your cross. Let me see every opportunity to help my family and friends as an opportunity to follow Your example, as a chance to pick up Your cross, to be filled with Your grace. Let me anonymously help a stranger, as a way to celebrate Your glory. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
