Day 110

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya

This Sanskrit mantra can be practiced to attain freedom (moksha) from Samsara – the “Karmic Wheel” that keeps us bound to cycle after cycle of incarnations.

This liberation mantra is a karmic eraser. Chanting this mantra with a sincere heart frees your mind and spirit from negative patterns in this life and helps us realize ourselves as a manifestation of transcendent divinity.

Furthermore, when we chant Sanskrit mantras, our normal perception of the world dissolves and we elevate to the spiritual fields of energy represented by the sounds.

Day 108

God,

Give me grace to pray and address you with my heart.

You are everywhere present, from you no secret can be hidden.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand;

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

Day 107

We all yearn for love and acceptance and look to family and friends to extend it to us. Just received a warm hug from my brother. A hug is such a blessing, it gives us assurance that we are loved.

God,

Thank You for all those who see me, and receive me,

who know me and fully love me.

Day 106

Spirit, Mind, Body

First, spirit; Second, mind; Third, body.

The spirit controls the mind and the mind controls the body. In other words, the mind tells the body what too do. This is character. The mind tells the body when to get up in the morning, when to go to bed at night, what to eat, how much to eat, when to work, when to quit work.

Not only does the mind tell the body what to do, but the spirit tells the mind what to do. We could go a step farther and say the spirit tells the mind what to tell the body to do. When the mind is controlled by the spirit and the body is controlled by the mind, then the body is controlled by the spirit. When a person’s spirit controls his mind and his mind controls his body, he has learned something about the priorities in life.

Day 105

God,

I surrender and admit: I can’t control people, plans, or even all my circumstances, but I can yield those things to You.

Thank You for today, for every good gift You’ve given, for every blessing You’ve sent, and, yes, for every challenge You have helped me through.

I know that when I pray and give thanks instead of worrying, I can experience the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding.

Amen.

Day 104

“Brothers and Sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from Me, or seen in Me – put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”

Lord God, I know You are here.
I trust in Your presence, Your power, Your goodness, and Your complete control over everything I’m facing.
Help me walk through the questions, assured of Your answers, even though they’re still unclear to me.
I know that even now, when I don’t understand, I have You with me, and that is all that matters.
I love You and I trust You,
