God,

Renew me with Your love and strength so that I may grow closer to You.

Your love is infinite and unconditional.

Help me to love others as You love me.

The Prayer for Today

Just for today, help me, God, to remember that my life is a gift,
that my health is a blessing, that this new day is filled with awesome potential,
that I have the capacity to bring something wholly new and unique and good into
this world.

Just for today, help me, God, to remember to be kind and patient to the
people who love me, and to those who work with me too. Teach me to see all the
beauty that I so often ignore, and to listen to the silent longing of my own soul.

Just for today, help me, God, to remember You.

Let this be a good day, God, full of joy and love.

Dear God,

Thank You for this beautiful day,

For health and food,

For love and laughter,

For family and friends.

I am grateful for the gift of my family

I am grateful for my wonderful friends

I am grateful to have received the unconditional love of a pet

I am grateful to see the sunrise and feel the warm sun on my face

I am grateful to live in a country that values freedom and liberty

I am grateful for music that stirs my soul

I am grateful for the mornings I awake and feel completely refreshed

I am grateful to know I am living a life of purpose

I am grateful for flowers

I am grateful to know I am a child of God

Isaiah 43:18-19 – Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

God,

I thank You that throughout the seasons of life, there are endings and new beginnings.

I thank You for the things that have ended in my life and I bless you for new beginnings.

True joy is never dependent on our circumstances. And though we may know this in our head, it might be hard to walk out every day. No matter what we face, we can still believe in God’s goodness and love, for that’s what carries us through the most difficult of seasons.

It has been a challenging week. “Thank God it’s Friday.”

Dear God,

I ask for Your help with my challenges today. Clear my mind of all negative attitudes and beliefs and cause stillness to overcome me. Let Your Divine love transform concern and fear into peace and calm. Be a harmonizing force within my life. Strengthen me.

To those that have laughed at life’s joys,

Cried at life’s sorrows,

Fought the good fight when necessary,

And been kind and compassionate to those in need.
