Today was a new day. Made an effort to start the day with gratitude in my heart. So many things to be thankful for… awesome wife, two sons that love me, family and friends that fill my cup.

Lord. I pray that you always remind me of just how lucky I am, and that you never allow me to forget to show my gratitude to those around me.

Just when I start to believe I have things figured out, life throws a monkey wrench in the works. Today feels like two steps forward three steps back.

God, help me to trust in Your plan for me. Amen.
