Dear Jesus,
Thank You for Your life, Your mercy, Your compassion.
Thank You for carrying the burden of the cross for my salvation.
Thank You for compelling Simon to serve as a cross-bearer as part of Your passion.
Thank You for your living Word: “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”
Let me never forget Your sacrifice so that I may see my burdens as small in comparison to Your cross.
Let me see every opportunity to help my family and friends as an opportunity to follow Your example,
as a chance to pick up Your cross, to be filled with Your grace.
Let me anonymously help a stranger, as a way to celebrate Your glory.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
