Day 45

Just days before the wedding… I am sure you are both nervous and excited. So much planning has gone into the wedding, today pray for your family. Why is family important? When you think about it, your marriage is the first step in starting your own family. Just as you love and accept each other for your strengths and weaknesses, gifts and faults; offer a prayer of acceptance to all of your family knowing they ultimately love you and have helped you get to where you are today. One of life’s truths is that we get what we give. We all want complete love and acceptance.
God, help me to be loving and compassionate with my family. Help me to let go of righteousness, resistance, anger, fault-finding or any other kind of struggle.
Just as you love and accept me, let me love and accept my family.
